Amber Cross, PT, DPT was born in the Rogue Valley and raised in the small town of Rogue River, Oregon. Growing up in an area with outdoor recreation fostered a love of staying active and healthy. After graduating from Rogue River High School, Amber took some time to work and have a family. She continued to lead an active lifestyle including playing recreational tennis, hiking, running, rafting, and riding off-road motorcycles. After experiencing some chronic shoulder and neck issues, she began experimenting with self treatment and soon became interested in a career in Physical Therapy.

While continuing to raise her two children, Amber attended Rogue Community College then Southern Oregon University to attain her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy. She then attended University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques. Being in Southern California provided her the opportunity to experience recreational activities in a warmer climate which she had previously not attempted such as sailing and surfing.

Following graduation, Amber returned to the Rogue Valley to be near her family and pursue her career as a Physical Therapist at Jackson County Physical Therapy. Amber provides thoughtful care and enjoys treating patients in an outpatient setting with a varied caseload.
