Sport and athletic-based injuries, and treating shoulder, hip, knee, ankle spine and balance
Brian grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon. He completed his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Brian is passionate about helping others by providing evidence-based, quality care to optimize the rehabilitation process.
Brian’s professional areas of interest include treating complex orthopedic injuries, inclusive of spine, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and balance, with a specific interest in sport and athletic-based injuries. Brian has also been developing a passion for vestibular rehabilitation, particularly patients with dizziness, vertigo, and postural imbalance.
Brian emphasizes the importance of addressing biomechanical faults early through specific and specialized functional movement assessments. He aims to provide good communication and positive interactions, patient-specific education, graded exposure, manual therapy, and progressive workloads to restore quality of life. He is also a huge advocate for general exercise and daily hobbies to normalize pain free movement.
In his free time, Brian enjoys weightlifting, golfing, tennis, basketball, rafting and hiking throughout the Rogue Valley. During the summer, you’ll find him on the Rogue River.
