Jacob was born and raised in Minnetonka, MN, just outside of the Twin Cities. He completed his BS Degree in Exercise Science at the University of St. Thomas in MN. He then decided to pursue further education at St. Catherine University, and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Before moving to Ashland, Jacob worked as a traveling therapist in Iowa and Minnesota, however his specialty interests lie in orthopedics and injury prevention. He treats a variety of orthopedic conditions and is pursuing certifications in ergonomic assessments and other areas related to work and injury prevention. He believes that manual therapy and targeted exercises, when paired with education, are the best way to allow people to continue doing the things they love.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, travel, and fishing. When indoors, his pastimes are cooking, home improvement, and video games. He is excited to explore all that this area has to offer.
