Justin was born and raised in Coquille, Oregon. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Therapy from Oregon State University in 2000. Justin received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2004.

After graduate school, Justin attended the Kaiser Permanente Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in Hayward, California. During his residency, he received advanced training in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and self-management specializing in the spine, shoulder and knee. Upon completion of the residency, he earned a Level 3 Manual Therapy certification. Justin Joined JCPT in 2004 and became a partner in 2007. His professional areas of interest include spine, shoulder, and TMJ dysfunction, orthopedic and sports injuries, and MVA. Justin received additional certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), and he is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Justin became a partner at JCPT in 2007, and enjoys coordinating local educational opportunities for health care providers. He also teaches on various physical therapy topics.
Justin is an avid mountain biker and Oregon State Beavers fan, enjoys camping, jogging, swimming, and traveling with his family. In his free time, Justin teaches P.E. at the Medford Montessori School.

Justin and his wife, Terri (a native of southern Oregon), live in Medford with their two children, Elise and Braeden.
