Spanish-Speaking

Lisbet was born and raised in Madison, WI, where she was recruited to row for the Division I Wisconsin Badgers. She completed her undergraduate education in Spanish and LGBTQ studies at UW Madison. After undergrad, she traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico for 3 months, where she interned with a physical therapist and learned the healing power of human connection.

She recently graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. She completed multiple unique clinical rotation locations such as the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and an inpatient neuro focus at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Through her clinical rotations, she developed a passion for evidence-informed care, manual therapy, and thinking outside the box.

She works closely with each patient to personalize their rehabilitation according to lifestyle, interests, schedules, and goals. She hopes that each patient walks away from therapy stronger, with a better understanding of their body, and increased confidence in their abilities.

Outside of the clinic, Lisbet can be found outdoors. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, road biking, or trail running with her dogs or fiancée, Emily, an ICU nurse.
