Michael grew up in Southern California within arm’s reach of Disneyland. He received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2013 and his D.P.T from Hampton University in Virginia in 2016. While in school he developed a personal interest in vestibular and neurological diagnoses when a close family member began struggling with these issues.
Michael worked for Providence in their outpatient Neuro Rehab clinic for 6 years as a primary therapist on their neuro team. He brings strong experience working with neurologically complex patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and has worked closely with Sports Medicine and other rehab providers to help athletes return to sport.
Michael recently completed his Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) certification. Specialties include concussion management, treatment of vestibular disorders, balance and fall prevention, and stroke rehabilitation. He also treats a variety of other neurological and orthopedic conditions including post-op recovery, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis.
Michael loves calling the Rogue Valley home and being in close proximity to lakes, waterfalls, and beautiful scenery. He enjoys playing basketball, gardening, listening to piano music, getting his hands dirty with home and auto repairs, and making memories with his wife, Rachel, and their children.
