Nathan was born and raised in Ashland. After graduating from Ashland High School in 2001 he started a career in Wildland Fire Suppression. After seven years working on two different USFS Hotshot crews he received his Bachelor of Science in pre-physical therapy at Southern Oregon University. In 2016, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University. Nathan has worked with patients of all ages and his clinical experience includes acute care, pediatrics, and most recently a placement at a well-known outpatient sports orthopedic clinic in Southern California.
Nathan recognizes that physical therapy should be implemented based on the individualized needs of each patient and that no two interventions will be the same. He thrives in the creativity of helping patients work to reduce impairments and reach their goals. He has particular interest in treatment of the foot/ankle, knee, Sacroiliac joint, lower back, and shoulder.
Nathan is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, rafter, trail-runner, rock climber and backpacker. He enjoys playing soccer and Ultimate Frisbee in local recreational leagues and is a regular participant in various yoga and fitness classes.
Nathan and his wife, Fawn, are excited and relieved to have relocated to Ashland after living in Southern California for the last three years during his post-graduate education.
