Jackson County Physical Therapy: A Leading Choice for More than 20 years
Getting the most out of physical therapy requires the right approach, knowledgeable physical therapists and attention to detail. In Oregon, you have the right to choose who you see for treatment. But how do you know you’re making the best choice?
If you’re not sure what to look for or where to go, consider these 3 critical factors:
1. How often does the clinic use aides or assistants for therapy sessions?
Some other clinics will establish a therapy plan with a licensed physical therapist and then use aides and assistants for many of your sessions. At Jackson County Physical Therapy, you’ll meet with a licensed physical therapist for every session of your treatment. We never use aides, techs or assistants at JCPT.
This—combined with our hands-on approach and personalized therapy plans—allows us to offer an exceptional quality of care and optimal results. Best of all, this increased level of care won’t cost you or your insurance any more than seeing an aide or assistant.
2. Does the clinic offer private, one-on-one therapy sessions?
The stress and discomfort of recovering from an injury or surgery is hard enough without worrying about an audience. Many other clinics use communal gyms and other open areas for treatment to allow more sessions in a day, or treat more than one patient at a time. We believe that the ability to consult with your physical therapist in a private, one-on-one environment increases comfort and ensures you have the undivided attention of your therapist.
At Jackson County Physical Therapy, we make it your choice as to how you want to conduct your sessions. We offer modern, private treatment areas to ensure that you always feel at ease. However, even during activities and procedures in gym areas, you can always count on the full attention of your own personal physical therapist.
3. Is the clinic a popular choice for physicians and other medical professionals in the area?
Many of the clients at Jackson County Physical Therapy are medical professionals throughout the Rogue Valley and Southern Oregon. We’re proud of our reputation in the region and honored to be their choice for physical therapy when needs arise. They recommend JCPT for their friends and family, and choose it when they need PT for themselves. We’d like to help you too!
